KNIT (90% wool, 10% polyester)
Knit is a durable, resilient wool upholstery fabric custom-made for Ekstrem™ by Norwegian manufacturer Devold. Knitted from a single thread, it offers the elasticity needed for the chair’s organic form, while its soft, breathable surface features a timeless quadratic pattern.
Replacement covers are not available in the Gentle fabric. Varier does not produce Gentle covers separately; they are only offered as part of a fully upholstered new Ekstrem.

(!) Reupholstering the Ekstrem chair is a complex task due to its unique, organic shape. We strongly recommend having the cover installed by a professional local upholsterer to ensure the best results. If you choose to replace the cover yourself, please tape the metal parts of the chair before pulling the cover on to prevent damage.
